Education in this country is at risk. Schools and teachers don't have the funding they need. Enriching after school programs and activities are too few and inaccessible for many. STEM education in particular is too often taught only from a book, with no hands-on learning or critical thinking.
BioBus has brought hands-on, inquiry-focused STEM learning to students across New York City, Boston, and beyond for the past 15 years. Together, we've reached more than 400,000 students in that time. With your help, we'll reach another 400,000 in the next 5 years.

Is this donation tax deductible?
BioBus is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization and your donation is tax-deductible within the guidelines of U.S. law. To claim a donation as a deduction on your U.S. taxes, please keep your email donation receipt as your official record. We'll send it to you upon successful completion of your donation.
Do I get a receipt?
A donation receipt will be sent to you at the email address you provide. Please keep your receipt for tax purposes. If you select a recurring donation, you will receive a receipt each month when your donation is processed. If you need a copy of your receipt, contact us at [email protected]. You can also create an account with Classy, our online donation processor, to view receipts and donation history using the link provided in your email receipt.
Can I donate stock?
Yes, we are pleased to accept donations of stock through a service called Stock Donator. Instructions can be found at http://www.biobus.org/stock-donations or by contacting Sean Kelly, Development Supervisor, at [email protected] or 914-719-6149.
Can I make a donation from my company?
Yes! Select to make your donation with a credit card, then check the box for "Is this a company card?" Your receipt will have the company's name and will be sent to the email address you provide. Can I mail a check for my donation?
Yes, you can mail a check to: BioBus, 1361 Amsterdam Ave, Suite 340, New York, NY 10027. Please let us know if you mail a check. Is my donation secure?
Absolutely. The security and confidentiality of your information is our highest priority. We use industry-standard SSL (secure socket layer) technology to protect your information and provide a safe and secure environment for online donations. We will not sell, trade or share your personal information with anyone else, nor send donor mailings on behalf of other organizations, and we will only share personal information if you have given us specific permission to do so.
What's Classy Pay? What's Plaid?
Classy is an online donation and nonprofit payment processing platform. Plaid is an intermediary service that securely connects Classy to your bank. Through Classy and Plaid, BioBus is able to accept donations by bank transfer, Venmo, PayPal, and mobile wallets, such as Apple or Google Pay. Classy and Plaid are both widely used, secure systems. Generous individuals like you donated over $1B to nonprofits like BioBus using Classy in 2021.
